Configuring it :
# vncserver First startup of VNC server
You will require a password to access your desktops.

New ‘localhost.localdomain:1 (root)’ desktop is localhost.localdomain:1
Creating default startup script /root/.vnc/xstartup
Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /root/.vnc/localhost.localdomain:1.log
# vim /root/.vnc/xstartup Configuration file – editing
twm & This is the last line in config file – which GUI is started.
Instead of twm you can put startkde or gnome-session
After this it is necessary to restart VNC server, so that the change is accepted :
# vncserver -kill :1
