HP UX and big files support

What is the big files support?
It is support for files bigger than 2G.
How to check if your partition is supporting files larger than 2G (it has to be done as root) :
>fstyp -v /dev/vg_abc/lvol1
version: 5
f_bsize: 8192
f_frsize: 1024
f_flag: 16
So :
If flag is f_flag: 0 – max 2 GB
If flag is f_flag: 16 – max 8 GB

If your partition does not support big files, but you need it to, here is what you should do :
>fsadm -F vxfs -o largefiles /your-mount-point/
And at the end check again using fstyp command.
