SquidGuard vs DanseGuardian

Since I have tried both, and have both on production systems, I think that I have a qualified opinion.
Since they both use the same lists, they are equal here.
SG has a MUCH simpler configuration, withount a million other files which it calls!! True, DG has more options, but it is not a adequate compensation.
Much simpler done in SG than in DG. I have (as yet) not found a SG log analyzer, but I am still working on it.
Also SG logs are separated per lists, which is much more comfortable (at least for me), while DG has all in one log file.
For me SG is a better choice, both for configuration AND for log analysis…..
