Nagios 3 —> Nagios 4

I have a very rich Nagios 3 configuration, with a lot of hosts and their services, but this Nagios version is quite old, and OS version on which it functions is also quite old (RHEL 4U5, and 32 bit also).
That is why I am going to put the whole thing on a new OS (CentOS 6U4/64), and on the newest Nagios version (4.0.2).
The next few posts will be about this upgrade 😉

What needs to be done :
1. Set up CentOS 6U4 and connect it to a repository
2. Set up the newest Nagios on it
3. Transfer the configuration from the old server to a new one, along with plug-ins, service and host definitions
