CentOS 6U8 and wget+proxy configuration and EPEL repository

How to set up a proxy server, so you do not have to do a export command for wget :
In file /etc/wgetrc put the following (at the end of it, it is all # anyways) :
https_proxy = http://10.10.10.94:80/
http_proxy = http://10.10.10.94:80/
ftp_proxy = http://10.10.10.94:80/
If this is not done, you may get a VERY strange error when using a wget command :
Error parsing proxy URL ”http://10.10.10.94:8080 Scheme missing.

How to add EPEL repository (must be done as root) :
# wget http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
# rpm -ivh epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm
